Iran's malaria health services available to seasonal workers
Recent statistics demonstrate that there are just three provinces of Zahedan, Shiraz and Bandar Abbas with a total of 578 health centers and health houses. All of these facilities have Rapid Diagnostic Tests kits. These results indicated the highest number of positive malaria cases found in seasonal workers.
The newly adopted approach of free malaria services for everyone can help to save many lives and stop malaria transmission from reintroducing itself into the region.
