According to the most recent update from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), there are now 166 total HIV cases in the southeastern Indiana outbreak.

Of these cases, 163 have been confirmed, while three remain designated "preliminary positives."

Healthcare workers are providing services in a system similar to a One-Stop Shop located in the Austin Community Outreach Center, 2277 W. Frontage Road, Austin, Indiana. The center’s hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The center is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The center has been useful for southeastern Indiana dealing with the HIV outbreak. The total number of visitors to the center now stands at 960. In total, 1,587 of the center's services have been utilized.

If individuals need assistance outside of center hours, they should contact the HIV testing or information department of the Scott County Health Department, the Indiana State Department of Health HIV Hotline, Urgent Medical Services at Scott County Memorial Hospital or Mental Health & Addiction Services at LifeSpring Health Systems.

The Grace Covenant Church has agreed to provide shuttle services. Individuals who require the shuttle service need to contact the Community Outreach Center in Austin for more information.

The ISDH One-Stop Shop can provide care coordination, HIV testing and vaccinations for tetanus, Hepatitis A and B. There are also birth certificates, state-issued ID cards, local training for employment, job counseling, HIV testing, HIV car coordination, HIP 2.0 insurance enrollment and substance abuse referrals available.
